Who You Are:

You have at least 2 years experience in direct sales. You should have solid relationships within the Romanian media, advertising, public relations, book publishing and creative professional community.

You will be responsible for both making and receiving sales calls and increasing prospective revenue opportunities and achieving assigned sales quota.

You will identify potential revenue opportunities through aggressive marketing and sales efforts that focus on the development of existing and new agency relationships. You will be responsible for maintaining strong partner agency relations, organizing and executing agency presentations and marketing of Northfoto as a whole.

You will be directly involved with all customer sales/ marketing development initiatives and will be one of the highest-level customer-facing salespersons in our team. You will be involved in client negotiations, pricing agreements and the request for proposal process. You will work collaboratively with peers to ensure consistency in business planning, sales management, and achievement of revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding monthly sales quota. Makes significant telephone sales calls to target new clients and existing assigned accounts and receives inbound calls.
  • Responsible for increasing closing rate, average sale, average number of images per sale, and average price per image through targeting and selling to higher-end clients.
  • Assist in development and negotiation of contracts.
  • Spends time inside the sales office making calls and servicing the client. (Approx. 50% of time)
  • Consistently reviewing the assigned account base to look for new revenue opportunities and make necessary recommendations and changes where necessary that may result in increased account activity.
  • Grow the revenue consistently as defined by management.
  • Being proactive with sales management to actively review account base for creative and innovative ways to grow the business.
  • Responsible for understanding and communication of company products, creative services, new technologies to new and existing customers.
  • Responsible for client visits that focus on building better business partnerships and find solutions that will ultimately drive customer confidence in the Northfoto brand.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years experience outbound and/ or inbound sales or account management experience
  • Proven consistent results meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of Northfoto products and our website.
  • Industry-related (stock photography, internet technologies, electronic pre-press, publishing or advertising) experience preferred.
  • college/ university degree
  • Relationship building: able to build rapport with client contacts. Understand their business direction & short/ medium term needs.
  • Account development: finds opportunities to grow accounts within own sector. Has in depth knowledge about their sector.
  • Team player: work collaboratively with sales & internal colleagues. Office skills: computer savvy; basic computer literacy, (Internet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
