Full-time Marketing Manager

Our client:
Our client owns and administrates two successful on line platforms in Romania.

The role:
To develop and implement a sustainable sales strategy and build up, coordinate and manage the sales team.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the marketing strategy with focus on online activities and based on the company business strategy;
• Coordinate implementation of the marketing plan, plan campaigns and promotions and supervise daily activities and proper use of agreed marketing tools and instruments;
• Continuously observe the market and analyse market developments and trends;
• Evaluate the market and identify areas with high potential, thus forecasting market demand in view of planned future services/products;
• Monitor the positioning, the marketing actions (online and offline) and their impact;
• Work closely with sales department to understand their unique set of requirements regarding marketing of products and services;
• Lead the strategic planning for new services/products by penetrating new and existing markets;
• Represent the company and maintain close relationships with press/media;
• May deal with research agencies or creative advertising companies;
• Supervise market research and surveys;
• To control the progress and quality of performance in the marketing department;
• To lead the team and appraise and motivate the subordinated employees.

Main job based requirements & competences:
• University degree required, preferably with a Marketing or Business focus;
• Minimum 5 years related experience in a marketing position, thereof 2 years in a managerial role;
• Solid experience with web based promotions;
• In-depth knowledge of on-line marketing “tools” and market research principles including pricing knowledge and experience in writing marketing plans;
• Financial awareness and budgeting knowledge;
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication skills are essential;
• Very well organized and with a structured mind;
• Strong planning skills; time / task / priority management;
• Independent thinker; fast learner;
• Customer understanding and market knowledge;
• Fluent in Romanian and English.
