Marketing Manager
la SC TEAM LINGO SRL in Timişoara
Lingo24’s Marketing Manager will manage the intended rapid growth of its marketing operations worldwide. Activity will include, but not be limited to, direct marketing, viral marketing, internet marketing (although this activity is already quite well developed) and PR.
Role:
– project manage evolving direct marketing campaigns across different countries and sectors and through different media (to include business case preparation; sourcing of data; creation of marketing collateral; delivery; measurement; analysis)
– co-ordinate collection, and regular analysis, of business data to improve selection of future target companies (KPI = improve conversion of lead to client) and guide strategy
– build, and manage, a marketing team capable of positioning Lingo24 as the most respected brand in translation to serious translation buyers in each target country
– management of marketing budget
One-off tasks
- research and development of marketing plan (inc. data strategy and budgeting)
- development of press pack
Education and skills required:
- at least three years’ experience managing marketing campaigns.
- experience of direct marketing and measurement essential.
- experience marketing in a B2B context - and internationally - an advantage.
- high level of computer literacy
- fluent English; other languages an advantage
Qualities
- attention to detail and thoroughness – MM must test concepts to death!
- focus – we want evidence you are someone who gets things done, doesn’t just come up with great ideas ;-)
- excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- energy; we want lots of activity and inspiration to emanate from our Marketing Manager!
Performance indicators
1) number of new clients tracked as knowing Lingo through marketing/PR activity
2) number of people typing lingo24 into search engines in key markets
3) at least 20% quarter-on-quarter increase in value of sales to new and repeat clients
4) improved awareness of Lingo (to be measured at beginning of year, and using same methodology every three months)
Working Conditions:
– Salary: Will depend on experience, but will be competitive and rewarding.
– Based: Working 2-3 days from home and 2-3 days from Casa Lingo (mainly using the Internet) in Timisoara. Hours: There will be some flexibility on hours, but the main working hours will be Romanian working hours. There will be frequent project deadlines and regular team meetings (on the web and in person)
– Contract: There will be a trial period of three months during which you will receive full training. During the trial period, the company will evaluate your performance, with the intention of making the contract permanent (or long-term) if the trial period is a success.
